Understand your passenger before you drive off
An airport pickup in Lisbon, a fare from the station in Istanbul, a tourist in Seoul with an address on a screenshot. Most of the time a map is enough. But when the passenger wants a stop on the way, needs help with heavy luggage or disagrees about the route, you need words. With Déblo Duo you speak yours and they hear theirs.
Why a map is not enough
A pin on a map does not say “the side entrance, not the main one”, “we need to pick up my mother first” or “please drive slowly, my son feels unwell”. Handing your phone to a stranger in the back seat is not ideal either.
How it works

Show the QR code
Before you set off, choose “Two phones”, your language and theirs, and show the QR code on your screen.

They scan it
The passenger points their phone’s camera at it and joins from their browser. Nothing to install, no account to create.

Talk while parked
Each of you speaks into your own phone and hears the other in your language. Settle the address and the stops before you drive. Never hold your phone while driving.
For example
At Lisbon airport, a driver picks up a family from Riyadh. The father explains in Arabic that the hotel is closed for works and that they are staying with friends near the castle. The driver hears Portuguese, asks which street, and they agree on the address before leaving the car park.
Questions
Can I use it while driving?
No. Holding a phone at the wheel is dangerous and illegal in many countries. Use Duo when you are parked, before the trip or when you arrive.
What if the passenger has no mobile data?
They need an internet connection to open the link. If they have none, choose “One phone” and take turns on your screen, still parked.
I am the passenger. Does it work the other way round?
Yes. Show your QR code to the driver: they scan it and join from their browser. Whoever shows the code pays for the minutes, the other person pays nothing.
